FOCUS WENT OUT THE WINDOW...AGAIN!
A week has passed. I fully intended to workout over the weekend but life got in the way. One workout Monday. Tuesday and Wednesday I was eating and drinking my way through Stanthorpe. Not getting back on the scales until all the carb bloating is gone. A quick workout with TT today. I wasn't feeling the best but I actually think I've loosened up a bit. Tomorrow will be a big one I hope.

TRYING TO STAY FOCUSSED
Small drop in weight. Even closer to my 2nd goal. After that 3rd goal will be aiming to lose a further 5kgs.
Yesterday was legs. Short and sweet but didn't push it too much. Today cardio circuit. Glutes still hurting from Tuesday.

IT'S A NEW WEEK OF FOCUSSED AND DETERMINED
Diet has been crappier than crap but birthday celebrations have been finished with, as has the bottle of Tamborlaine red which was especially good - if only I'd had some chocolatey badness to go with it.
Anyway NO MORE ALCOHOL for at least a month. It is now in writing, abide by it fool.
No exercise for 4 days over weekend. Yesterday I tried out yet another new program that I found on bodybuilders.com. It was chest and back yesterday. Even upped the weights on the chest...woohoo. Today is supposed to be legs. Don't think my back/hips are ready for it so will do the cardio circuit and see if I can manage that. Also the girls are coming with me and they won't want to do legs as set out in the program, you can just about guarantee that.

Dieting Debstar's style - 2011
Over the years I've read and seen some pretty amazing 12 week body transformations. Kek's story will remain my all time favourite. I've tried doing it a few times and have come to the conclusion that it does not work for me, I just do not have the willpower to go the distance. I have no intention of doing the guilt trip over this because I recognise that for some people 12 full weeks is never going to work.
For me the healthy living plan can only last for 4-6 weeks. I started my health trip in July and managed to get to August when we went on holidays. Some people may be strong enough to maintain healthy eating throughout a holiday. I am not. Then I made it through another month, up until the wedding after which I totally lost the plot. ooops!
Exercise has also taken a bit of backward slide...its amazing how eating rubbish makes you feel like rubbish so anything that involves getting sweaty loses it's appeal.
Enough is enough, today I am back on my happy, slow but sure, healthy eating/exercise journey. I expect to last 4 weeks and anything after that will be a bonus. I figure that if I do this for long enough I will stop falling back on my old unhealthy habits. That's the plan anyway.
